Pressure of 58 20 hours after cataract surgery

My husbnad had cataract surgery last Tuesday.  By 7AM Wed. morning he had a bad headache and was vomitting.  By time I got him to Surgeon's office his eye pressure was 58.  They put a drop in his eye to reduce pressure as well as a prescription.  Six days later, they eye is still cloudy and he is very concerned.  He has another appt. tomorrow with doctor. A year ago, he had surgery in the other eye and no complications at all.  
Did the eye pressure of 58 cause permanent damage?

Probably not.  It depends on how much the pressure decreased with the drops.
