Pressure on the eyes during a facila

I want to know the cause of the reaction I had when I was getting a facial today.

The lady gave me a gentle scalp massage and I was relaxed enough to be able to take a nap. But then she started applying a cream on my eyes- they were closed. Suddenly it made me uncomfortable, I was feeling sick, I had to request her to stop, wiped the cream off. I felt dizzy, tired, and just plain washed out. I had to sit up,I drank water, rested a little bit still I was not back to my baseline. Putting a cold washcloth on my forehead covering the eyes gave me some relief. I do not any eye problems, thyroid problems but do have high blood pressure.
I had to end the session, needed to sit for some time before I oculd drive off.

Probably an allergic reaction.  It is hard to speculate without knowing the content of the cream.
