Problem Wearing Sunglasses

Problem Wearing Sunglasses

For the last 3 years i havent been able to wear sunglasses because whenever i do i start to get a splitting headache.  The pain is pinpointed right in the middle of my head right where my nose curves up into my forehead.  The feeling is like if you were to cross your eyes for a long period of time, or if you squeezed the top of your nose(closest to your face) really hard.  The only thing that i thought might cause this or be related to it is that i have broken my nose 3 times.  It was always just cartalige and i straightened it out myself and it healed(i think) but there was alot of blood all three times.  I do have a really big nose, i never have migranes (migraines) or headaches, it gets really annoying though because i snowboard and wearing goggles gives me the same problem, so any help would be awesome.  Thanks

Dear Laxplayer08,

I would recommend seeing an eyeMD to determine the cause of your headaches with sunglasses.  Try to answer questions as to duration of the headaches, relation to sunlight, throbbing or dull and any other associated symptoms.  The doctor will be able to diagnose your problem by taking a history and examining you.  The more information you give him/her the more answers you will obtain.
