Problem With Viewing LCD Lights...

Okay, this is going to be weird, but try to follow me. About a week ago, I started noticing halos in my vision (the eye dr. i went to said it was most likely sinuses, because i still have a sinus infection, and she could find nothing else wrong)...but then later that day, when I got home, I noticed the weirdest thing about the LCD light on my computer monitor. Whenever I turn my head, the light seems to turn, too! If I pick my head up, the light (it's blue, if that helps any) will move up, too. I tried it will other electronic devices in the house, and most of them did it (all of the LCD ones did it, and most of the other ones with blue lights did it, as well. No other ones did). I didn't bring it up to my eye dr today, because she might have thought I was retarded. Does anyone else experience this?? Or am I the first ever? lol.

I think you're ok.  I've seen colored halos around lights my whole life, and only a few years ago realized that it's an unusual quirk as far as human perception goes.  I went to two eye doctors, and one was extremely confused and the other thought I was making things up.  My eyes seem to be fine.

LCD lights do sort of jump around when I move my head or eyes.  It's a little distracting, but it really hasn't had much of an effect on my life.  Let me know if you start seeing thin bands of colored light around dark objects in well-lit places.  It's something I've always noticed.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who saw this kind of thing.

Yes, that's the exact thing I've been noticing...halos around streetlights mostly, but sometimes thin bands of colored lights...around little lights mostly (like my brother's tiny lights on his Playstation 2). They happen in sunlight, too, as well as in the dark. It's funny, though, how I see them around mostly green or blue-colored lights...but around things like lightbulbs, I don't see them at all.
Oh, by the way...THANK YOU for replying to my post, and making me feel a little less insane. No one else seems to believe me about the LCD lights, and the ones that believe me about the halos seem to think it's because I spend too much time around the TV (which I really don't...I spend about two hours a day, and that's due to a homeschooling DVD program I am taking). So thank you. At least now I know I'm not the only one out there; and I feel a little better, too, because I've been walking around thinking it's some neurological thing.
Aside from the halos and LCD lights, I also notice a lot of (what I believe is called) "starbursting" at night, like around car headlights. Do you experience that, as well? I've had that problem my whole life, so that doesn't bother me too much anymore. But again, thanks for replying to my post!
