Problem with 3D vision RX sunglasses

Problem with 3D vision RX sunglasses

Hi. I am having a weird problem and wondering if anyone can enlighten me. I just purchased new prescription sunglasses from WalMart. I can see out of them but I am getting sort of a 3D affect from the left lense. 3D is the best way to describe it, certain colors or objects (like computer screens) jump out at me. I had WalMart check to make sure the prescription is correct and it is. They don't seem to know what could be the problem. They said they would redo my glasses for free but if we don't know what the problem is, it could happen again. Any suggestions as to what is going on? Thanks.

Take the glasses to the doctor that did the glasses test and have them check the glasses and redo the refraction. These should be done at no charge to you. Often they can tell the problem. Your problem might occur due to the wrong RX being prescribed, the glasses being made incorrectly or not mounted right in the frames or changes in the tilt of the lens or the base curves or the coatings on the lens.
