Pterygium

i have pterygium at my left eye. i visited my doctor and examined. the surgeon prescribed me some drops and told me that i should use theses drops for a couple of weeks. the pterygium may reduce within 2 to 3 weeks and the irritation and the related problems may also eliminate. according to the surgeon, if will feel good with theses drops within the prescribed drops time frame, then carryon, otherwise the lost resort is surgery. i m using the drops for about to 5 days but all the problems exist so far. what should i do? i mean should i visit some other surgeon? or i should make a surgery by the same surgeon.
Thanks and i m waiting for a suitable reply.

Call the surgeon back and ask about your problems. Also suggest you use the search feature and archives to read about pterygium surgery which is often a long drawn out affair with a 20% chance of reoccurence.
