Ptosis Surgery..

Hey guys,

I had ptosis surgery Wednesday 13/5/09 on my left upper eye lid. When will I see the final results to see whether it's worked or not?

Theres still a bit of swelling on the eyelid and theres still the stitches in but I took a picture (I couldn't help it) and now notice that the left eye is bigger than the right, thats when I burst into tears. Now Im just back to square one again!!

Hopefully when the swelling goes down the eyes will be the same size but I can't stop thinking about it and crying everytime I do!! :(

It will be about 4-6 weeks to get an idea about the final position.

Thank you. Is there any chance once the swelling has gone down that the eye lid will also "go down" aswell?

Yes BUT you need to get this information from your surgeon.
