Pulsating and flashing or vision (cataract/vitreous gel).

Pulsating and flashing or vision (cataract/vitreous gel).

I have recently had cataract surgery in my left eye and have since developed problems.  I have a flashing in my side vision and a pulsating in my central vision making it very dificult to read.  A retinal specialist has diagnosed me with posterior vitreous gel detachment.  I have alot of floaters but I have always noticed this since before my cataract surgery which probably means I have had the PVD for a while.  My question is that anyone with PVD have a pulsating of their central vision?  I see a lot of people have floaters and side flashing.  Also has anyone had success with a Vitrectomy?  Because I am soo young (38) my Doctor says it may be some time before the gel clears up so a Vitrectomy may be necessary if I want quicker results.

Pulsating vision is not seen with PVDs.  Get another opinion.
