Thank you for replying. I was told that I would not need glasses, except for driving, since my left eye is not too far off from normal vision. So, I am only wearing glasses for driving and some computer work, since my LCD screen appears blurry from a distance of two feet or more. I did do the test that you recommended and my observer noted that she saw very little difference in pupil size difference, however when I look into a mirror, it seems much greater to me (the tests were done without glasses). I have a follow-up appointment in a couple of days, so I intend, of course, to discuss this with my doctor. Thanks again for taking the time to respond. I may be posting a follow up after my next appointment.
They may have had to stretch your pupil to do the surgery, you may have been on dilation drops that are not fully worn off. Take you glasses off, look at something very far away from you (20 ft or > ) and ask a friend to see if there is a difference in size.
Myopia glasses make things look smaller. So if you have a thick myopic correction in one side of your glasses and a thin or no lens in the other it will appear the highly myopic pupil is small due to minification of the lens.
