Pupils not dilating evenly

by Michelle143, Aug 27, 2009 11:49PM
Hi. My name is Michelle. I am currently wearing contacts and I noticed something wierd recently. At night when I take out my contacts out either my right or my left (mainly my left) eye will be dilated bigger than my other eye. I shine a flashlight and they both react well to the light instantly, then the bigger pupil will slowly start to get bigger while to light is still on it. I go to sleep and it goes away, for a day or two. I use eye drops so I don't know if that could be the cause or if I have something else going on. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks for your time.

Probably normal.  If concerned see an ophthalmologist.
