Questions about the eye after PPV or RD surgery

Some questions for RD (PPV) patients or doctors who could answer some simple questions:

1) Did your eye still feel tender and soft and sensitive 2 months and a week after?  I still do not try to do abrupt things actions such as bending over abruptly and not carry heavy stuff (I canrry my laundry now (less than 5 lbs).

2) at what point were you able to do more regulat things and realized it was ok and that you were not worried about your eye or didnt even think about hurting your eye?  I mean...i think I will always worry and think about what i do will be good for my eye/s...but when did you start doing things and thought it was safe ...like picking stuff on the floor and not thinking about your eye or carry your laundry or groceries?

4) my eye sometimes feels cold and tears sometimes all of a sudden or after some computer or tv....did yours do the same?  I coudl ask all these questions to the Doc but thought it might be better who actually had RD too.

5) did you sign up for a support group by you?  can you recommend a good one if you are in one?  maybe one that meets up once in a while might be good.

6) does your eye feel weird sometimes...i dont mean in a bad way...but kinda like you know there is some glue there or something?

7)  do you sometimes feel a "pulling", "stingy" or like your stretching your eyeball a little in a not so good way too?  if you did...did it go away or do you still feel these feelings...how often if you do?

Thanks so much in advance for your response.  I really appreciate it.
