REStor IOL - double vison and twitching

by eye1378, Nov 02, 2009 10:28AM
I'm 58, & it's 2 weeks after my ReStor with UV implant.

Right now, with that eye only, I see a 2nd layer (like on my keyboard) that is offset above & on a diagonal, just slighly, which blurrs what I see - my vison with my new lens is not sharp anywhere - will that improve over time?

And my new eye flicks and twitches without blinking - my Dr. said he didn't know what causes that, but he's heard of that reported. Any information or advice wuold be greatly appreciated! Thanks

The double vision is due to a residual refractive error.  Most likely some astigmatism.

Some have report the second problem that seems to go a way when the capsule closes down on the IOL.
