Re: Floater Treatment

Re: Floater Treatment

I have had a floater, for several months now, in my right eye. My optometrist told me there was no known treatment for it, that it would have to go away on its own, or it may not. I heard recently from a naturopath, that Bilberry has been know to remove these and improve eyesight as well.
Are you familiar with this alternative treatment and can you verify any known results?
Thank you

I have no experience using bilberry and I am not aware of any medical studies looking at its effect on floaters.  Assuming you have had a thorough retinal exam, floaters are generally benign and tend to dissove over time.  It may take many months.  If any of your symptoms change, see you eye doctor.
