I am a 36 y.o.
femaleCondoms
Female condoms
Female sexual dysfunction with myopia and astigmatism. I have worn glasses since I was 7 years old. I went an eye surgeon to determine if I was a candidate for
LASIKLasik eye surgery - series correction. I was told I was not a candidate due to the shape of my eyes. There is a risk that a "donut" impression would be left after the surgery and that the risk was too great for me to be eligible for the surgery. I was also told I could have PRK, which I chose not to do. I then went for contact lenses: Toric lenses with a prescription of:
Rt eye: sph -3.25; cyl -1.75; ax 180
Lt eye: sph -5.oo; cyl -0.75; ax 005
I am very curious about the risk
factorFactor ix complex. How
commonCommon cold is it? Should I get a second opinion? Should I just wait for new technology?
Thank you for your time.
tanja-
i would need to examine you personally and to get computerized mappings of your cornea to determine if u r a lasik candidate. that being said i am confused as to why u were told that lasik was too dangerous, but prk would be ok. usually if a patient is not a laser candidate it is for both prk and lasik. there are some disorders that can rule out a patient for this surgery, but i would have to examine u personally to know if that was the reason. If you are interested we would love to see you here at Henry Ford Eye Care Services. Simply call 1-800-363-7575 for an appointment. otherwise i would get a second opinion. good luck.
