Can Nystagmus cause difficulty with reading by causing extreme fatigue in a person with a definite dx of Multiple Sclerosis with previous bouts of Opticneuritis? If so is there anything to help with the problem?

If you do have nystagmus related to your MS, it is possible that this may be worse when you are tired or when your eyes are fatigued.  You may want to try taking more breaks when you are reading.  It is also important to update your eyeglass prescription because this will reduce eye fatigue.  Like your MS, you may notice that the nystagmus is worse at times and better at others for no apparent reason.  Good luck.
