I have had
LasikLasik eye surgery - series done on my both eyes a year ago and I have been having vision fluctiation since. My prescription was around -8 in each eye. After the surgery I had a 20/20 vision, but now it has been degraded to 40/20, it can be corrected by wearing glasses or possibly an enhancement. My

this much fluctuation is not common- however i would first wonder if u have a dry eye syndrome, a tear film disturbance, which may be causing your troubles. have u attempted artificial tear drops to see if your vision "clears" ??? outside of that, u will need a topography ( a computerized mapping of your corneas ) and a complete eye exam to look for other cause of the fluctuation. finally, does this occur all day, or only at night??? if it is only at night then it actually is not that unusual since we all get more nearsighted at night. if u r in michigan please call us at henry ford for a second opinion at 313-363-7575
