Re: removal of retinal buckle

I recently had surgery to restitch where the buckle was starting to pul away.  This stitching is now also pulling apart I would like to know what may happen if the buckle is removed entirely? If the retina detaches again are there other options than having a 2nd buckle put in ie: laser or gas bubble. ]P{]P{]HR WIDTH=}75%} SIZE=}4} COLOR=}#000090}{

how long is the recovery from this surgery, having the buckle and a gas bubble to reatach the retina. what is the expectation for vision recovery. i did not experience much loss of vision prior to the surgery, only somewhat distorted images for several weeks.
