ReSTOR probelms

What are my options when an implanted ReSTOR lens doesn't seem to work?
I have not had any previous eye surgery.  The lens was implanted three months ago, and now my vision in that eye is WORSE than before cataract surgery!  My vision is blurry at all distances, especially so when reading.  I believe that my opthamologist is an excellent surgeon; the problem is probably with the lens.

I totally agree with Dr. Hagan, search the archives.  There are many posts on this subject.  I had the Resto rimplanted and 1 month later explanted and exchanged.
Click on my user name and you will be able to read several of the posts regarding Restor   Also, as Dr. Hagan said, it is always a good idea to get a second opinion.

How is your vision now?  Did you sue the doctor or get any refund

My ReStor surgery did not go well.  I now am told by my surgeon that there was a miscalculation in my astigmatism correction and I still have astigmatism...thus blurry vision at all distances.   Check and see if that may be your problem.   I am told that they can "try" to correct the astigmatism with laser, but no guarantees of outcome.
