ReZoom and/or ReStor

I am 54 years old and 1 mo. post-op R eye cataract surgery with replacement ReZoom lens.  The lens is fine, but my reading vision is not at the level I want and even my computer/intermediate is not really great--not as good as the first week or so after surgery.  I'm not sure if this is a result of the ReZoom lens in my R eye or the multifocal contact lens in my L eye which by now is probably not the correct prescription.  I have surgery scheduled for my L eye next week and am now reconsidering whether to have a ReZoom lens or a ReStor lens in that eye.  My optometrist suggested having ReZoom in one eye and ReStor in the other.  My surgeon says he has had only one patient choose that option and that the adjustment time is longer. His other patients have always been happy to have the ReZoom in both eyes.  I read a great deal, for pleasure as well as for work and don't really want to wear reading glasses if I can avoid it.  A friend of a friend had the ReZoom/ReStor combo and I am told he thought it was great "after he finally adjusted." Years ago when I first needed bifocal contact lenses, they tried me with the monofocal (distance in one eye and near in the other) and it just gave me a headache. Has anyone else gotten ReZoom in one eye and ReStor in the other?
