I have stated about 1 year ago with a reading glasses with number 0.5, doc told me to use it when I have intensive reading but very fast I became addicted to glasses and use them whenever I read. Recently I see that it is not easy to read even with the glasses, I am 46. What should I do ?

I am not a doctor and have very little medical knowledge, but I don't think that .5 is very strong at all.  My mom is 52 and was complaining the other day because she found it hard to find 1.25 reading glasses and it was easier when she only need 1.00.  I am guessing that maybe your eyes have become dependant on the .5 glasses and that it probably won't hurt to bump it up a notch.   Good Luck
