Realistic expectations

AGE 75  been unable to see the big E clearly since 10...last script -1/-3/110 OD; -1/-2.75/75 OS add 2.25 both. Perpetual fog started 2 years past...could not see fish until 40 feet out.  Both eyes 10/2017,11/2017  basic Medicare lenses distance...my request to surgeon I want distance vision as good as it gets even with slight correction post op...Alcon Sof IQ 18D OS and 19D OD.  Post op two drops essentially 30 day protocol anti bio for seven days and steroid for seven days four times separated by five minutes then step  down steroid dosage weekly 3,2,1. Absolutely no post op issues with remarkable contrast and color definition instanter. Last refraction uncorrected OS 20/50, OD 20/30...Left eye 60 days post op right 45...should I expect the uncorrected eyes to improve or remain or decline?? Buy correction when both are 60 days post op or wait?
