Red Color Vision

Red Color Vision

I woke up in the middle of the night and the red LED letters on my alarm clock appeared more pink than red. I went back to sleep and awoke again and they looked normal again. This has happened two or three times over the last year or so. I went to my eye doctor who did an eye exam including dilation, but could not find any problem. Did great on the color vision test. Vision is perfect in one eye and near perfect in the other. Slight monovision, left eye better for disance and right eye better for reading. No surgery, no corrective lenses. I do have some floaters, and if I strain hard (blowing nose or on toilet) I can sometimes see white "meteors" for a couple seconds. Does anyone think that the color issue is associated with the floaters/meteors. What do you make of the color issue.

Flaoters shouldnot change the color perception. Other possibiities include your uncorrected refractive error and the distance you were from the clocks, ambient lighting, mucous or dry spots on your cornea, the degree of dark adaptation.

Hi, iv had asquint-esotropia from birth. my eye sight is good in both eyes.Patched when was younger. Never needed glasses. My right turns in, it only stratens when my left eye is covered, My left eye then turns in and up. i am thinkin of surgery what are the chances it (alignment) will be corrected and will both eyes need to be operated. only doing if for cosmetic purposes so turn not as noticeable. What do you think about botox??
