Red Eyes, Green Crusty Discharge, Eye Pain From Eyebrow To Upper Cheek Bone

In August I went to the eye doctor and he suggested I start using contacts because it would help my left eyes stigmatism strengthen.  I've fone for follow ups and everything has always checked out fine.

A month ago I stopped wearing my contacts because my kids were really sick and I was having some mild eye pain.  Today I was able to put my contacts in and they immediately started to hurt like there was debris on them (I have had this problem since I got the contacts and the doctor said it is normal and I would get used to it).  I brought my three sons to an Air Show today and my eyes started to also itch and started being sensitive to the sunlight.  While walking around the show (which is completely outdoors) my eyes starting feeling like there was crust in them and I would wipe it with a napkin or sleeve, never my fingers or hand.  As the day progressed the pain got more intense (from my eyebrow down to my upper check).  When the show was over and I got in my car I took my sunglasses off and looked in the mirror and my eye was light pink, slightly swollen, and starting to discharge a yellowish green pus like substance.  By the time I got home and hour later the pain had intensified and the discharge and swelling was much worse.

ISo I went to the pharacy to get eye patches because I'm afraid it might be pink eye/conjuntivitus and I don't want my sons to get it.

Now it is 4 hours since I arrived home and my eye is almost swollen shut the dischage is extremely heavy and immediatly start to crust.  The pain is still from the eyebrow to the upper check.  But now when I bend over I have tremendous pain in my eye and upper cheek area.

I have been flushing my eye out and alterntaing flusing the eye out with artificial tears and alternating putting Erythromiacin and Vigomax (because that is what I was prescribed last time I went to the doctor) in my eye.

My vision when I take the patch of is blury and because I have the stigmatism in my left eye everything I see is blury of doubled.

In addition two days ago when I was driving during the day and night I started seeing goldish circular flashes and spot (no lines).

I have severe outdoor allergies and well as sever antibiotic allergies.  I had gestational diabeties when I was pregnant, but my sugar has been under control.  I am overweight but in the past two months I have lost 25 pounds.

I can't figure out what this might be.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry this is so long but I wanted to give as many details as possible.

STOP PATCHING THE EYE!!!!!  Never patch an infected eye it just holds the pus against the eye, raises the temperature so the bacteria grow faster.

Use the Vigamox every hour till bedtime and e mycin at bedtime. If you get up in the night put the Vigamox in. If you have an ophthalmologist contact their answering service and get an appointment set up tomorrow morning as an emergency. If you see an optometrist start calling Eye MD ophthalmologists about a Monday AM appointment and to speak with the MD on call.

Update on my eye situation.  My left eye is now very red and starting to swell and ooze yellowish green discharge.  Both eyes are very very itchy.  When I focus with my left eye it starts to zone out, then gets fuzzy then goes black in certain spots (black in a "T" shape or half of the thing I'm looking at.

I'm really getting irratated, because it is not getting better but is actually getting worse and the medicine and flushing/cleaning is not working.

Thanks for you help!
