Red,Swollen,Tired and Painful eyes for 4 years plus.

Not sure how to start and sick of going to doctors and not finding answers. I would say half way threw college I went to Alabama for a political trip  out government teacher made us go to. My eyes flared up and  turned ultra red. To the point were people thought I was smoking weed in the back of the bus. As soon as I got home my mom sent me to the eye doctor and he told me to try the Opicon A bauch and laumb allergie eye drops . It solved the issue right away but I started using them for 4 years none stop. I became addicted to them. After doctor after doctor I found a specialist in Towson Maryland close to were I live. I told me to stop doing the eye drops. He stated I had a mixture of dry eye and my eye lids had calluses over my eye lid ducts. He gave me an eye wash, eye steroids and a thick eye drop of some kind that I would spread over my eye lids. I did this for 2 months after paying over 400 bucks for the stuff. Did not really help! I never went back.

Its been a year since I have used the drops or anything at all. My eyes are still red and hurt all the time. I have swelling it seems every other week. I am usually fatigued and tired all the time. My eyes always look tired and hurt. Its pretty un-attractive.  I am only 26 and it makes me really self conscious and with work I have to look like i have my self together if that makes sense. Some people say its conjunctivitis, others say I need a CT scan to see if I have chronic sinus infection. I do have constant pressure   behind my eyes...nose and neck. My eyes cant handle wind at all and very sensitive to light. I don't like talking about it because when I think about it my eyes feel worse. I lost a modeling career over it and cant seem to get answers :( . So anything would help. After giving up on finding a doctor I have sent out emails asking for help. Any advice would be appreciated.

You need to see an ophthalmologist to diagnose and treat your condition.

I would suggest you go the Wilmer Institute at Johns Hopkins.  Ask for a corneal and external disease specialist.
