Red line on eye white

Hello guys, I have a question for you, hopefully someone experienced knows a solution or advice.
I have some red lines on my eye, I am guessing they are blown blood vessels. There is this one line that really disturbs me because it is quite visible. It came about when I was around 14 years old. I am 20 now and it is still there. I went to an eye doc and he said it is nothing to worry about. However, I didn't ask him if it would ever go away.
So I am asking you, is it possible to get rid of this line on my eye?
