Red mark in white of eye for 5 months

Hello,

My 7 month old has a red mark in his eye that has been there since he was 2 months. It is right below the iris, very similar to a burst blood vessel. It has not changed in appearance for 5 months. What could this be? He doesn't appear to have any vision problems nor other problems.

Likely a vasular anomoly of the conjunctiva (like a tiny tiny varicose vein on the surface of the eye). Show it to your pediatrician and decide if it warrants seeing an Eye MD. Likely its there for good.
