Red ring around my iris

Three weeks ago my left eye was red and I believe I had a stye on my upper left eyelid.  I kept a warm compress on it throughout the next morning and the redness cleared.  Eleven days later my left eye began getting red again.  I stopped wearing my contacts which I usually wear but the redness did not go away and then a red ring began to form around my iris.  I also just noticed that underneath my upper left eyelid there is a dark spot on my eye.  I should also mention I have a small mole on my lower left eyelid - I'm not sure if this matter.

Leave your contact lens out and see your contact lens fitter. Everyone wearing contacts should be under the care of an ophthalmologist or optometrist

i dont wear contacts but in my left eye its always hurts and when in in the dark or shade it feels better it has a red ring around it. it hurts constantly and im having trouble seeing out of it sometimes. what it wrong with my eye

You need to see an eye MD ophthalmologist as soon as possible. You may have a condition called "iritis" or "uveitis". Call for an appointment tomorrow. Find an eye MD near you at www.aao.org
