Red veins and yellowing eye whites

Hi there

I have been having problems with my eyes for about 8 months now, i have used all sorts of eye drops and consulted my doctor about 3 times when they also sent me to an eye doctor.

The doctor precribed me something for bletheritis but when i double checked i did not have the crusts of symtoms (symptoms) that bletheritis has, and also my doctors medical notes said that only in severe cases should you use antibiotics for this.

The symtoms (symptoms) of my condition started with gradual red veins in the eyes (my eye whites were so clear before they were almost blue!) but now i have lots of small red veins which has started to make my eye whites look dull and almost yellow.

When i first had the problems i have severe sensitvitiy to bright office lights and computer, but this has now gone, as i have changed my work place so the air con is not bad, but i always feel my eye dry, senstive to weather / wind and strained. I have been looking into this for ages and hope to get some help! if someone can ! My next step is also to go to a specialist eye hospital in london though your expertise will help!

Thanks for your response, i am going to my doctor on monday and want a referel, but from your expertise, do you know if the red veins are permanent, or can this fade if i get the right treatment, when my eyes are more healthy?

I have read in a previous response on yours you recommend optive / restasis eye drops which i will mention to my doctor.
