Reduced low light vision in one eye

The past couple of weeks (don't ask how i managed to have one eye open to notice this at all) it seems that one eye is noticeably worse at seeing in the dark than the other eye. For example if there's an object in a dark room i have trouble differentiating it from the dark wall behind with one eye. Of course the brain is amazing so it is processed up fine so it doesn't affect my vision when i have both eyes open.

Although, I'm worried it might be caused by something more serious. I have mildly myopia and one eye is slightly more myopic than the other. Spectacles correct this and with spectacles the same night vision problems described above occurs.

Any ideas?

It could be serious. Optic nerve and macular disease could cause that. See an Eye MD ophthalmologist ASAP.  Find  one at wwww.aao.org
