Relation between squint, myopia & hypermetropia

I wear spects for squint - 6/9 corrected to 6/6 by spects. I want to join the Air Force. But its stated that "6/9 correctable to 6/6only for hypermetropia, no manifest myopia reported." I'm I eligible or not. Further, do I come under any of these categories - myopia, hypermetropia or presbyopia.

You will be able to join any air force. Whether you can be a pilot depends on the rules/regs of each brach of the serive. At least in the USA it is now acceptable for potential pilots to have had lasik or PRK to correct them to 6/6 metric  (20/20)
