Replacement of eye implant

Approximately 6 years ago I had a Cataract removed from my right eye and a lens implant that was suppose to correct my vision in that eye to 20/20.  But after surgery the Doctor came into the room with my Wife and I and said that he had goofed in the placement of the lens.   Now just 4 days ago I had a Cataract removed from my left eye and a lens implant and now I do see 20/20 out of my left eye.  Now my question.  Can I have that lense removed and the proper one replaced with out much problem?

It really depends on the type of IOL.  However, this far out it would be difficult.  Other options are a piggyback IOL or refractive surgery with LASIK or PRK.
