I would definitely delay the second surgery until you are satisfied with the first eye.

Is your Dr. in Californina...Los Angeles area. Happy that it all came out well. Did your Dr. have any issues taking out the lens from the capsule? My Dr. says there is a window of no more than two to three months, I've had a vitrectomy so my exchange would be more difficult. My operated eye overshot the mark of plano so the distance vision is out of line with the other eye. When I am in a large room, everything seems like in 3D.
look for the numerous posts with this information explained in more detail, but basically the monofocal in each eye is set for a slightly different vision range
I am happy for your great results!
What I is "mini" mono vision?
just had to add this update, I can already tell one day after the exchange my vision without the restore lenses is much improved. The second surgeon hit the target perfectly and I now have funtional mini monovision and things look normal again. He was very pleased with how the surgery went and I am so pleased and thankful for what he was able to do.
I replaced both Restors with monofocals, hopefully it will result in a mini monovision effect to give back some near vision. The second lens exchange was done by a different doctor who also told me he would never have recommended the mutifocals to a mildy myopic patient like I was in the first place. (Wish I had consulted him first) it was just done today so I am waiting to see how it works out as he targeted more nearsighted vision, the first lens exchange left me with decent intermediate and distance, but needed reading glasses for close. Hope this helps you out, and if I can answer anything else, please ask
I appreciate your post. At least I will postpone the 2nd implant since living in a psychedelic world at night isn't safe for driving. Did you replant a mono focal lens or other?
I had one Restor explanted after 3 months to help reduce the halos that obliterated my field of vision at night. Also had other aberrations and vision trade-offs from them. Now 6 months later I'm having a lens exchange in the other eye. Do I need to say more? Unless you are really satisfied with all other aspects of vision with Restor, the second lens didn't make it better, only worse, at least that was my experience.
