My 11 year old son had eye injury on 25th Dec-12 on same day 5 sutures were taken by ophthalmologist & was referred to retina specialist…after B scan on 26th retina specialist told us that they will do the vitectomy after swelling comes down.. they did the Bscan again on 2nd jan-13 & told us they will do the vitectomy on 10th Jan-13.. & on 10 Jan 2013 dr’s performed after pars plana lensectomy+23 gauge pars plana vitrectomy+PFCL+ fluid gas exchange+ siliclon oil Inj+ endolaser …
…….every time after B scan they told us that retina is attached hence chances of getting vision back is there but it will not be 100 %.. but after vitectomy they told us that retina was damage hence keep the hope but don’t have any expectation… since vitectomy (with oil, on 11th Jan-13) my son has not recovered his left eye vision….
hence I beg you to help him in getting his left eye vision back…kindly suggest advance treatment/surgery anywhere in world…… so that he can get his left eye vision back.. I will follow ur kind suggestions for sure… as its for my son…
Kindly help…& oblige
