Retinal Detachment

Retinal Detachment

Hi, I had surgery 3 weeks ago (Scleral Buckle and Vitrectomy)

I had an accident in my right eye when I was 4 years old, now im 23.
I nail from the wall got into my eye, I had a corneal transplant (after that my vision is really blurry) It's been really hard for me, my right eye always looked lazy, words can't explain how I feel,  people made fun of me all the time, I even thought about killing myself when I was younger.... Then my doctor said that I could get my lazy eye fixed with a strabismus surgery..so he did it, everything was perfect until 3 weeks ago that my ophthalmologist told me I had a retinal detachment, Its been 3 weeks since my surgery and I feel depressed, i can barely open my eye, I'm wondering if its going to look lazy again after is healed and If it does can I get another surgery?, I'm scared to death, I don't have pain anymore but my eye is really sensible to light, most of the time is watery...the dr says this is notmal but I don't know how to deal with it!

If the RD happened within a week or two after the eye muscle surgery it could be due to the retina being damaged at the time of eye muscle surgery.

You progress is very guarded as to vision,  eye position is less poor
