Hi! My Mother underwent
RetinalFluorescein angiography
Retinal artery occlusion
Retinal detachment
Retinal detachment repair
Retinal dye injection Detachment correction surgery Scleral buckling 5 months ago. She is doing now. Though the vision in the eye is 100% she has
doubleDouble-tussin dm vision on extreme lateral gaze. I have two questions? 1. Why does she have
doubleDouble-tussin dm vision? 2. Can she read from the computer? She likes to play games on the computer. I wonder if the surgery and its
recoveryRecovery position - series would interfere in any way with her using the computer, watching T.V., movies etc., I would appreciate your answer to these questions. Thank you.

DoubleDouble-tussin dm vision is a known problem after scleral buckling procedures. This is caused by the buckle placed around the eye which is in a position close to the eye muscles. She may benefit from prisms but if this is only in lateral gazes and not straight ahead this is likely not an option. She can read and watch as much TV as she wants without concern.
