I AM A 55 YEAR OLD MALE- Was diagnosed with cataracts and opted for Rezoom implants in both eyes.
After the implants I was tested and had 20/25 vision in both eyes. This is a definite improvement in my vision.
I am now able to read just about everything without glasses (except very small print). My vision is good at just
about all distances. It would be accurate to say that I can see as well as I did when I was in my teens.
The only drawback is that at night I have significant haylows around any light source that I look at. When you factorFactor ix complex in
that I also still have astigmatism it is almost impossible for me to drive at night. Part of my "package" included lasikLasik eye surgery - series (if needed) which should improve my astigmatism and help my night vision. As of this date I have not had the lasikLasik eye surgery - series.
Hope this help those of you considering Rezoom lenses. It was a good choice for me.
Halos are the biggest draw back. Some patients do not adapt. Get your astigmatism fixed and consider constricting drops for night time driving. You can also put on your dome lights to constrict the pupil. I do not know if it legal to drive with dome lights on.
