Right eye pain

by mendozaof3, Oct 02, 2009 04:53PM
It started two days ago, pain in the inner right eye.  I cant till if its my eye ball or eyelid.  I feel pain when i blink.  It hurts also by touch.  No problem with vision.  What could this be?

Dear mendozaof3,

Pain upon blinking may be caused by both an eyelid problem such as a stye or conditions such as dry eye which affect the cornea or outer layer of the eye.  I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD to obtain appropriate diagnosis.
