Right eye pains.

by Leesmith05, Jul 14, 2009 12:07PM
About 9 months ago I was following a friend through the woods.  He walked past a twig that flung off him and hit me in my right eye.  For about 2 weeks my eye was bloodshot and hurting when light hit it or i moved it around a certain way. Well now to this day, on and off I still feel that same pain but usually only with pressure on my eye. Especially after i go swimming.  I have 20/20 though. I'm Curious if this pain will ever go away or is my eye still healing.  I have not went to an eye doctor b/c I'm Laid-off work atm and i can't afford insurance.  Just some advice or an experience with this until I can get it checked out.

You seriously need to see an ophthalmologist right away since you probably have traumatic uveitis at the very least and possibly a corneal ulcer.  In other words you suffered more damage than you thought and seriosly need medical attention from an ophthalmologist. Do not risk serious permanant damage to your eye and your vision.
