SLT for Glaucoma

I have pseudo-exfoliation in left eye.  Started out on xalatan, then switched over to Lumigan when I was Glaucoma Suspect with ocular pressure 21-30.  Under control low 20's on Lumigan, optic nerve healthy, no visual fields defects on test 5 months ago.  However, last visit hemorrhage on optic nerve found and added Alpgagan P to Lumigan, did not do a thing after 6 weeks, pressure 24 today.  Dr. Stated Alphagan P was the best he could do with MEDS, and it did not do a thing so wants to do SLT which he says may not work or can make pressure worse.  So if SLT does not work are my only options more riskier surgeries!  Visual field gave been perfect for last 8 years, do not know if this hemorrhage has caused defects as yet!  Are there not some other drops that could help?  Hard to believe since I have only tried 3 different drops my options at this early glaucoma time are so limited.  Appreciate any advice!

Optic nerve hemorrhage was diagnosed 6 weeks ago, hence being put on Alphagan P which did not lower pressure.  All previous visual field tests and nerve scans up to that point were normal.  I have not had a visual field test or nerve scan since the hemorrhage which was still present yesterday when examined, hence I an scheduled for SLT in 2 weeks.  so at this point I do not know if the hemorrhage has caused any vision loss.  My vision in left eye, affected eye, was 24 yesterday,

You could add a betablock to lower pressure.  However,  I am not sure I would add any drops if you have not had and visual field changes.  Do you have any changes on nerve scan?
