Scheduled for cataract surgery, getting a cold!
Hi,
I'm scheduled for cataract surgery in two days.  I had an RD 7 months ago, 2 vitrectomies, oil, s. buckle.  I woke up this a.m. with a sore throat and it feels like it's turning into a cold.  Will this affect whether I should go for the surgery or not?  So far, no nasal congestions, just the sore throat and tired.

Thanks

I would cancel the surgery if your were my patient.  Call the doctor and discuss with him.
