Scleral buckling surgery

Scleral buckling surgery

What is the success rate of Scleral buckling surgery? I was diagnosed with retinal detachment in both eyes (left eye fluid up top) (right eye fluid at bottom).  Dr. is recommending Scleral buckling surgery for the left eye and laser procedure for right eye.  Should I get a second opinion?

Is there a Dr. that you would recommend in Atlanta GA area to perform the surgery?

There is some urgency to fixing a retinal detachment. Overall the retina can be attached about 95% of the time but the "normal" vision does not always return to normal even if its reattached. This is especially

I trained in eye surgery at Emory University and the Emory Department of Ophthalmology is one of the top 10 training programs and research centers in the USA.  They are especially strong in retina. Use this link in your browser to look under retina surgeons. Information for getting an EMERGENCY appointment is given on the site. good luck
