Scleral hemorrhage

by bt49, Sep 07, 2009 11:15PM
Is there a reason to be concerned about a non-traumatic, spontaneous, asymptomatic right  scleral hemmorhage in am otherwise healthy 60 yr old white female?  The hemorrhagic appeared the morning after a 45 minute snorkeling session in a dry suit on a cruise in the inner passage of Alaska.  Sight is not affected and there is no pain. The hemorrhage is now 7 days old with still no symptoms, and only partial resorbtion of the hemorrhage.  What would be a common time frame for resorption of the hemorrhage?

This is a subconjunctival hemorrahage.  Nothing to be concerned about unless you have bruising, or bleeding elsewhere.
