Scratched eye cornea

2 days ago I scratched my eye cornea with my finger nail trying to get something out of my eye,theres no pain.I went to an eye doctor yesterday he did a test with a blue light and told me i have 2 small scratches on my cornea.he gave some something called erythromycin ophthalmic ointment to put in my eye 3 times a day.My vision out of my eye is still blurry but its only been 2 days and with the ointment in my eyeit  makes it more blurry.how long can it take for a scratched cornea to heal?I have read it can take up to 2 or 3 weeks to get your vison back is this true?im very worried about it.but he didnt seem to worried.how long should I give the 2 scraches to heal?

Small scratches heal in about two days.  It is probably the ointment that is causing the blurred vision.
