Severe Deep pain on right eye

I'm Jim 41, i read a magazine early night just an hour then on next day morning around 9am my right eye feel a severe pain that last 3-5 hrs it look reddish and teary. I tried to take mefinamic acid it lower a while but it back to next 4 hrs. i put a solid ice in my right eye to lower the pain.  when i eat salt-preserve fish my eye pain triggered. Please help me how to control this pain almost daily occur. This already almost 5 years sometimes gone sometimes back. Thank you.

You may have recurrent erosion syndrome.  Please see an ophthalmologist.
