Severe Myopia at -21 in 5 year old

My daughter was a micropreemie and is now 5 years old. She has severe myopia at -21. She had ROP surgery while in the NICU and has no other issues with her retina since. She is light sensitive. I have a read about several surgeries that can either help with her myopia or atleast slow it down. Do you have any suggestions? I am looking for any kind of information to help her. Is there anything or anyone you recommend. I have done little research so far on different procedures, though I have found the Anterior Chamber Intraocular Lens (IOL) implant, the Phakic Intraocular lens implantation, and the Excimer Laser Refractive Surgery. Have you heard of any of these or recommend any of them. She also has a strabismus. I read that sometimes this could be caused from the brain and not just weak eye muscles. How can a doctor figure out whether it is one or the other?

You will have to find a pediatric ophthalmologist specializing in these procedures.  However,  at 5, she will probably have a significant change in refraction over the coming years.
