Severe eye floaters

Hello everyone and thanks for reading my question. I'm 27 years old and have had eye floaters for about 9 years. They are getting progressively worse with time. I have been to the eye doctor a few times and told him about them and he says my eyes are healthy. I have cob webs and hundreds of little dot looking specs I see every day. I am starting to get concerned because they are interfering with my vision while driving. My eyes always look a little red. Not white like most peoples eyes. I'm not making a mountain out of a mole either. I literally have hundreds of floating debris in each eye. From time to time I will see flashes but not always. My question is if anyone else had this problem and what did you do. I'm starting to wonder if I have some form of uveitis. I have a sister with an auto immune disease. At first they were just an annoyance but now I think its dangerous to drive. They are starting to disrupt my life and I don't know what to do. The eye doctors I have seen in the past don't think its serious. Thank you very much for answering!

You did not specify if you say an Eye MD ophthalmologist on a non-MD non-physician optometrist. You need the first. If you did not see an eye MD see one, if you did see an Eye MD consider making an appointment with a Retina Eye MD specialist for a second opinion.
