Shakey Vision with light objects

When I look at something with a white or light background, the image seems to shake.  My closet doors and doors in my house are white paneled doors and they shimmer/shake (the raised pattern on the door) if I look at them for more than one second.  I also am having difficulty teaching in white-painted (bright white) classrooms - everything in the room seems out of focus, however when I walk out of the room into a not so bright area, my vision seems fine.  This happens in any bright room I am in.  I seen an opthamologist today and he said my exam looked good - he referred me to a neuro-opthamologist, but the appointment is 2 months out.  I am quite concerned.  I did have a bad headache (constant) in October that lasted two weeks.  I had a MRI done at that time (without contrast) and it was normal.  Do you think a MRI with contrast would show something that this cold be from?  I have tried closing each eye and looking at the white objects and found it does not shake unless I am looking with both eyes open, but when I look with just one eye - the clarity of my vision isn't as good.  Please share your thoughts and suggestions with me.  Thank-you

I am concerned that your answers are not helpful to people posting on this forum as you always take the safe option and  suggest seeing a doctor, well, der ....

i think people are looking for genuine  input, as Doctor Hagan so kindly provides.

If you are just rying to promote your practice, there are other avenues.

Dear Snoopy_301,

I would recommend that you seek the care of a neuro-ophthalmologist or neurologist.
