Shape Change Brown Spot in Sclera

Since after 2008, I noticed I've developed a brown spot in my eye, and I didn't notice it's shape change until it shifted from an oval/round shape into an irregular shape. I wear glasses, and when I went to the eye doctors at the time they said it was just the first layer in my eye being too thin in a particular area, but if it was growing to seek further medical help. Should I be concerned? It doesn't really look like its grown.. but it definitely has changed shape as in there's certain parts that's gotten both darker and lighter... and its close to my iris/lens/pupil as well. Any advice?

As you there's been a difference in growth and shape...

I am currently 18 years of age... so about 5-6 years ago this has developed.

Yes, you should go for an evaluation soon. Make sure you are not developing a melanoma (very doubtful) unless you have a condition called Primary Acquired Melanosis.

My grandfather is caucasian does the raise my chances of it being PAM or Melanoma?
