Sharp pain to rear of eye.

Sharp pain to rear of eye.

Well it may be me being pedantic, but here goes:

August 2007 i had two fingers planted in both eyes. I left it for a couple of days, then went to A&E with a complaint about pain. They moved me on to a specialist who took a look and couldn't see anything wrong.

In October the eye pain hadn't gone away, i went back to a different specialist who also couldn't see anything, and suggested dry eyes. He gave me a wonderfully useless ointment (Viscotears) which hasn't made a blind (pardon the joke) bit of difference.

I have been quiet vague about the pain so far, so now i will describe it, It is worse at the end of the day (but never the mornings) and i do tend to see strange swirly lights in the dark. I also have a pain when I look to the extremes (up down left right), Finally bright lights hurt - when they dont seem to hurt everybody else - the pain is  a sharp one, usually most painful when i move my eye, and if situated towards the back of the eye.

Poor grammar and a confusing layout to my question aside, Is there anything I should be worried about?
