Short sighted - Problem

Hi,

I have a short sighted problem. am wearing glasses since 2 years.
Power Prescription :
---------------------------
Right Eye : 1.0 (SPH)  2.0 (CYL) !80 (Axis)
Left Eye :    2.0 (SPH) 1.5 (CYL) 160 (Axis)

Problem:

Am able to see distant objects when wearing glasses clearly. but i find difficulties when reading books papers or any close pictures. the closest objects. books or paper more good when i dont wear glasses.

I came to know this is because of high cylindrical power,

Can you pls help with overcoming this problem. Pl let me know the way i can go with glasses or contact lens with good clarity for close objects too.

I'am 25 years now. I could see close objects clearly with out spectacles than with Spectacles

YOur problem does indeed sound like presbyopia. The treatment for this is bifocals. See an optometrist or ophthallmoloigst
